A Metal Belt Holder That Splits in Two
The Rexel 980041 belt style key holder hangs a key ring off the waistband and pulls apart when you need to hand one set over.
This is a plain metal plate that hooks over a belt or a waistband, with a hinged tab in the middle and a 26mm split ring at one end. Rexel describe it as a pull apart key holder: the tab separates so the holder becomes two rings, which is how a caretaker hands a room set to somebody else and keeps the master. It arrives on a hangsell card.
There is no spring to tension and no cord to fray, which leaves very little to go wrong. Splitting a bunch in two without unthreading every key saves real time on a handover, and the plate sits flat against a waistband rather than hanging off it.
If you would rather have reach than rigidity, see the retractable key holders, then the rest of the key accessories range, the kit property teams reach for in real estate office supplies, or everything from Rexel.
