A Coiled Cord That Stretches and Springs Back
The Rexel 9800202 is a black coiled cord with a 22mm key ring at one end and a J clip at the other, stretching to 280mm when you need it.
There is no reel and no winding mechanism here. The cord is a moulded spiral that pulls straight and coils itself back up, so it behaves like a telephone lead. Rexel put a J clip on one end, which is the hook that goes onto a belt loop, a zip pull, a bag strap or an ID holder, and a 22mm split ring on the other for the keys.
There is no housing and no spring, so the cord is the whole mechanism. Stretched out it gives enough slack to turn a lock at waist height, and released it gathers the keys back against the hip instead of leaving them swinging from a belt loop.
Compare it with the spring loaded reels in retractable key holders, see the rest of the key accessories range, browse real estate office supplies for inspection kit, or open the full Rexel range.
