ACCO Australia list code 210843 as the grey and purple Smoothgrip, a full strip stapler rated at up to 20 sheets of 80gsm paper on Rexel 26/6 staples; the photograph they publish against the same code shows a navy body with a pale blue grip.
The colour field and the photograph do not agree, and we would rather say so than pick one. What ACCO and the pack do agree on is the mechanism. ACCO describe soft grip material that keeps the stapler secure in your hand, a light plastic shell around a metal spine and magazine, and a body opening out to tack. The card prints 20 beside a 26/6 No. 56 icon and a Try Me flash.
A grip that does not slide is what you notice on a long collating run, and the metal spine is the part carrying the load while the plastic shell keeps the weight down. The single staple size ACCO list, 26/6, means one box to reorder rather than two.
Refills are in Rexel paper staples, the other Smoothgrip colours are in full strip staplers, and the rest sits in office staplers and Rexel. Ask us for a photograph of current stock if the exact shade matters.
