Shredder Lubrication Without the Bottle
Rexel article 2101949 holds twenty A5 oil sheets that lubricate a shredder as they pass through it, which is why Rexel call them the easiest way to oil your shredder.
Each sheet carries a measured film of oil, and Rexel state that it distributes the right amount of oil every time. ACCO Brands classify the shredder type for this article as Non Auto Oiling, and their feature list describes the sheets as safe to use with most shredder models and brands, and recommended for a wide range of Rexel shredders. ACCO Australia's product page says to use one once a month.
A sheet goes in the same way a page does, so the routine takes seconds and needs no decanting, no spillage and no wiping down afterwards. The box stores flat beside the machine, and because the oil already sits on the sheet there is no judgement call to make about how much of it to apply.
Check your own machine manual before you order, since the oil a shredder takes is set by its maker. The same sheet comes in a twelve pack, and the rest of our shredder oils and paper shredder accessories sit alongside it in office equipment.
