A Hand Tacker for Boards, Not a Stapler for Paperwork
The Rexel Value Tacker is a squeeze handle tacking tool that drives Rexel No. 23/6 and No. 23/8 staples straight into a surface, rather than folding the legs flat behind a page the way a desk model does.
Rexel describe it as suitable for attaching paper or fabric to soft base materials, which in practice means pinboards, cork and fabric covered display panels rather than a hard surface. It is not a tool for masonry or metal, and it carries no sheet rating at all, because it does not fasten pages to each other the way an office stapler does.
A wire bar clips down over the steel handle and locks it, which stops staples firing while the tool is carried or stored. The dark blue housing is moulded plastic and light in the hand for overhead board work, and a ruler is moulded along the base so spacing stays even.
Stock the matching Rexel staples and see the heavier tools in industrial staplers. For fastening pages rather than boards, the desk models sit in office staplers, and the rest of the range is under Rexel.
