Punching a Whole Bundle in One Stroke
The Rexel R8003 Power Punch drives two holes through up to 100 sheets of 80gsm paper in one action, using a long handle that ACCO Brands rate at 40 percent power saving over a standard desk punch.
A punch of this class belongs where documents arrive in bundles rather than pages. The paper size guide sets the sheet square before the handle comes down, the rubber handle takes the pressure off the hand across a long run, and the clear confetti trap slides up so the waste is tipped out without dismantling anything. ACCO publish a two year warranty period for this article.
For a print room or a records team the practical gain is fewer passes. A 100 sheet report at 80gsm goes through once instead of being split into four. Hollow blades are a wearing part, and Rexel supply the R8093 spare set so the machine is brought back to a clean cut rather than replaced.
The R8093 spare hollow punches and boards sit alongside this machine in heavy duty punches, lighter desk models are in 2 hole paper punches and paper punches, and the wider Rexel range runs from staplers to binding supplies.
