The Rapid HD12/16 is an all-steel long arm stapler that reaches up to 400mm in from the edge and fastens up to 40 sheets of 80gsm paper.
A normal stapler only reaches a short way in from the edge, which is no help when a booklet needs stapling down its spine or a notice needs fixing in the middle of a large sheet. The long arm on the HD12/16 is built for that. ACCO list the stapling depth as adjustable up to 400mm, set with a sliding paper stop along the base, so every copy in a run is stapled in the same place.
ACCO suggest it for brochure stapling and for pinning. The frame is all steel, the base sits on soft non-slip rubber feet, and ACCO list Rapid Strong 24/8+ staples for it along with a 5 year warranty.
