Eighty Sheets And Five Thousand Staples Between Reloads
The Rapid 5080E is a cassette fed electric stapler for up to 80 sheets of 80gsm paper, in silver with an orange cover.
High volume stapling usually means two headaches: refilling the magazine and a machine that wears out. The 5080E answers both with the Rapid 5080 cassette. ACCO say one cassette gives 5,000 staples without a reload, and the parts that wear are replaced each time a new cassette goes in.
Documents slide into the slot at the front and the machine fires on its own. ACCO describe the action as extremely quiet with low vibration. The body is rated for more than 500,000 stapling operations.
Size wise it measures 161mm high, 243mm long and 105mm wide on the ACCO dimension drawing. ACCO list a 2 year warranty.
