A ream of pastel for documents printed in volume
Rainbow Office Paper A4 Pastel Assorted is 80gsm copy paper in pastel colours, 500 sheets to a ream.
Any organisation that prints multi-part documents ends up standardising on pastel: the yellow copy, the pink copy, the blue copy. Once that convention exists the paper gets consumed by the ream rather than the packet, and running out of one colour halfway through a run means reprinting the whole set rather than finishing it.
At 80gsm it is ordinary copy-paper weight and keeps black text at full contrast, which matters on anything that gets read rather than glanced at. It is the same weight as the white stock already in the machine.
