The Craft Stock a Classroom Actually Runs Out Of
Rainbow Cover Paper A4 125gsm Assorted is a 250-sheet pack of mixed colours on heavy craft stock.
Cover paper is not copy paper. At 125gsm it is roughly half again the weight of the 80gsm sheet in your printer, which is the whole point: it holds a fold, takes paint and pastel without going soft, and stands up on a display board instead of curling off it. Austpaper sell it as a drawing paper, a craft paper and a direct-to-print paper for things like certificates. More of the coloured papers are here.
Two hundred and fifty sheets in mixed colours is the quantity a primary classroom gets through in a term. Buying it assorted rather than as separate colours is what stops the cupboard filling with part-used packs of the one shade nobody picks. Austpaper describe the stock as FSC Mix, though this pack has no photographed label, so we quote no licence number for it.
Rainbow make the same 125gsm stock in single colours and in both A4 and A3. Rainbow publish no weight and no country of origin for this range, so we state neither. The wider craft papers and office papers sections carry the rest.
