A black pop-up tent, 105 x 105 x 110cm up, folding to a 44cm disc. Comes with a carry bag.
Black on the inside is the whole specification. A coloured play tent is a play tent; a black one is a dark space, and a dark space does two jobs a classroom otherwise cannot. It gives an overwhelmed child somewhere to go that is genuinely quieter and dimmer, and it makes every light-based sensory resource you own actually work - fibre optics, projectors and glow panels all need dark to do anything.
It pops up in seconds and folds to a 44cm disc, so it lives in a cupboard between uses rather than taking a permanent corner. That matters in a room that has no permanent corner to give.
Our own note, not the supplier's: an enclosed dark tent means a child out of sight. Set it up where staff can see the opening, agree the rule that the flap stays open, and treat it as a supervised space rather than a hiding place.
