The MT5 Mail Tuff mailer from Polycell is 265 x 380mm with a 50mm flap, a carton of 100 white bubble lined bags for parcels that are too thick or too long for the A4 document size.
A little more width and length than the MT4 does not sound like much, yet once a textbook, a spiral bound manual or a folded t-shirt adds depth, that margin is what lets the flap close without strain. It suits online clothing stores, schools posting workbooks home and publishers sending review copies.
Polycell make the Mail Tuff range from a kraft paper exterior laminated over bubble, listing LDPE as the main material. They position it as a lightweight bag that keeps postage to a minimum, with a tough outer and tamper-evident seal for the general mailing cycle. The bubble is there to guard the surface of the contents and soften knocks on the way.
