A slim brass ballpoint with Pilot's hybrid Acro ink, in dark blue with gold trim
The Pilot Eterlink is a twist-action ballpoint in a slim brass barrel finished in dark blue with gold trim, writing black Acro hybrid ink through a 0.7 mm fine tip.
Brass gives the Eterlink a reassuring weight that a plastic pen cannot match, and the slim profile keeps it comfortable in a shirt pocket or a small bag. A twist of the upper barrel extends the tip and a twist back retracts it, with no button to catch on fabric. The finish is matte dark blue with gold clip and trim.
Acro ink writes with the smooth, vivid line of a gel pen but dries quickly like oil-based ink, so it does not smudge under a left hand or on glossy paper, and it is water resistant and archival once dry. The fine 0.7 mm tip gives a clear, fluent line. It is refillable with Pilot BRFN-30 or BRFN-10 Acro refills.
