A slim, weighted ballpoint with Pilot's hybrid Acro ink, in metallic blue
The Pilot Acro 1000 is a retractable ballpoint with a 0.7 mm fine tip, a soft-touch metallic blue barrel with silver accents and Pilot Acro hybrid ink in black.
Acro ink sits between a gel and a traditional ballpoint. It writes with the smooth, vivid line of a gel pen but dries quickly like oil-based ink, so it does not smudge under a left hand or on glossy paper, and it is water resistant and archival once dry. The fine 0.7 mm tip gives a clear, fluent line for everyday notes and signatures.
The barrel is slim with a soft-touch finish, and a weighted metal grip section and ring detail move the balance towards the tip for a steady, controlled feel. It retracts with a push button and carries a pocket clip. It is refillable with Pilot BRFV-10 Acro refills, so the pen outlasts many refills.
