Use bottled ink in your Pilot cartridge pen
The Pilot CON-40 is a twist-piston ink converter that fits Pilot cartridge and converter fountain pens, so you can fill from a bottle instead of buying cartridges.
The CON-40 pushes onto the pen in place of a cartridge. Dip the nib in the bottle and twist the knob to draw ink up into the reservoir, which holds about 0.4 ml. Small agitator beads inside the barrel keep the ink moving towards the feed rather than clinging to the walls, which helps maintain a steady flow as the converter empties.
Filling from a bottle opens up the full range of fountain pen inks, including the Pilot Iroshizuku colours, and costs far less per fill than cartridges. The converter rinses clean with water when you change colours. It fits Pilot pens that take the standard Pilot cartridge, including the Kakuno, Metropolitan, Prera, Explorer and Capless.
Supplied as a single converter. Browse our fountain pen converters, fountain pen inks and Pilot range.
