The Superfax PF340 is an automatic paper folder that runs A5, A4 and A3 stock through six pre-programmed A4 fold types at up to 7800 folds per hour.
PHE publish six pre-programmed A4 fold types, so a run changes from a standard letter fold to a half fold from the control panel rather than by resetting fold plates by hand. The feed table holds 400 sheets, paper from 45 to 150 GSM is inside the published range, and a total counter tracks what has gone through.
A conveyor stacker delivers the folded work in sequence, so a mailroom collects it in order rather than sorting a pile off the floor. Error, jam and paper out detection stop the machine on a fault instead of spoiling the rest of the stack, which is what keeps a long run repeatable.
