The Sonnet Black and Gold, as a Rollerball
Parker 1931496 is the Sonnet rollerball pen finished in black lacquer and trimmed with a 23K gold coating, with a fine tip, giving the look of the classic Sonnet fountain pen with the convenience of a capped rollerball.
A rollerball writes with liquid ink, so the line is darker and glides more easily than a ballpoint, yet there is no nib to break in, no converter to fill and no special paper needed. Parker promise an effortlessly smooth, consistent ink flow from the rollerball tip. The fine grade keeps letters crisp on forms, diaries and ruled pads.
The black lacquer is applied over a brass cap, each Sonnet is hand-assembled by Parker, and the rollerball measures 134mm and 27g on Parker's graphic. Parker list black ink and note that the ink is packed in the box beneath the pen, so check under the tray before assuming it is missing. The pen comes in a Parker premium gift box.
