Matte Black With Warm Gold Trims

Parker 2231403 is the Meridian twist ballpoint pen in matte black lacquer with gold trims: the cap is matte black lacquer on brass, the trims are gold PVD on brass and the arrow clip is gold PVD on stainless steel.

Meridian is a new Parker collection built around sculpted crease lines that run the length of the barrel. The joins sit flush, so the pen reads as one uninterrupted silhouette from cap to tip. A matte black lacquer softens the shine of the body, so the gold-finish clip and centre band stand out.

It uses a twist mechanism rather than a click: turn the barrel to extend the medium tip and turn it back to retract it. Inside is a Quinkflow ballpoint refill in blue, and spares in black or blue are easy to keep on hand.
