Black Lacquer and Chrome, Sculpted by Meridian

Parker 2231399 is the Meridian twist ballpoint pen in black lacquer with chrome trims: the cap is black lacquer on brass, the trims are chrome coating on brass and the arrow clip is chrome coating on stainless steel.

Meridian is a new Parker collection built around sculpted crease lines that run the length of the barrel. The joins sit flush, so the pen reads as one uninterrupted silhouette from cap to tip. Black lacquer with chrome trims is the understated choice, sharp against a suit and easy to match with a black leather folio.

It uses a twist mechanism rather than a click: turn the barrel to extend the medium tip and turn it back to retract it. Inside is a Quinkflow ballpoint refill in blue, and spares in black or blue are easy to keep on hand.
