Parker 2213725 pairs grey lacquer and gold trim with a fine nib on the Ingenuity fountain pen, and Parker specify a stainless steel nib with a gold PVD coating, so the nib matches the gold trims instead of showing bare steel.
Parker list gold PVD on brass for the trims, gold PVD on stainless steel for the clip, and a cap of lacquer on brass. The engraved shell, which Parker say adds a subtle tactile detail, is the fluted gold section behind the nib in our photos, and the grey shows a fine brushed grain.
