Grey Lacquer with Gold PVD Trims
Parker 2213728 is the Ingenuity ballpoint in grey lacquer with gold trims, and its specification goes into more detail than most: gold PVD on brass trims, a gold PVD stainless steel clip and a cap of lacquer on brass.
PVD is a vapour-deposited coating, which Parker use here instead of a plain gold finish. In our close-ups the grey shows a fine brushed texture, the clip carries the Parker arrow and the centre band is engraved with the PARKER name. It is a softer, more modern look than black and gold.
The pen uses a premium twist mechanism with a medium Quinkflow ballpoint refill, and Parker list black ink. Our box photo shows the pen held by a fabric band inside the premium Parker presentation box.
