Ingenuity: A Twist Ballpoint with Solid Proportions
Parker 2181997 is the Ingenuity ballpoint in black lacquer with chrome coated trims, a twist-action pen with a weighty, full-size body, fitted with a black Quinkflow refill and presented in a premium gift box for senior staff and milestone gifts.
Ingenuity is its own Parker range, separate from the IM. Parker say its sleek design and solid proportions give a balanced feel in the hand, and that the black lacquer with chrome coated trims sharpens its silhouette. Our photos show a broad chrome band at the cap line and a long, tapered chrome cone.
Instead of a click button, a premium twist mechanism extends the tip, which keeps the outline clean. Parker fit a Quinkflow ballpoint refill writing black at a medium point and describe its lines as smooth and consistent wherever you write.
The hinged dark presentation box makes it ready for a retirement, promotion or board gift. Other Ingenuity finishes and fountain pens are linked below. See executive pens, executive ballpoint pens, pens worth gifting and Parker.
