The Big MAX820: 221 Litres of Empty Watertight Space
The Panaro MAX820 is a large, deep watertight case supplied empty, 820 x 600 x 450 mm inside and 221.4 litres in all, for when you need to move a lot of gear in one sealed box.
A 70 mm lid closes over a 380 mm base. Panaro list the empty case at 14.78 kg, so it is built to roll: wheels on stainless steel pins at one end, a large fold down handle, and handles on both sides for lifting it between two people.
Panaro's MAX820 test file runs to IP67, STANAG 4280, MIL-STD-810H and an ATA 300 Category 1 airline certificate. The polypropylene shell interlocks for stacking, has double throw nylon latches, padlock holes and an automatic pressure release valve, and is made in Italy. Panaro's datasheet gives a temperature range of -51 to 90 C.
