Pluck-to-Shape Foam in a Long, Low MAX800
The Panaro MAX800S is the long MAX800 with Panaro's standard cubed foam, a tidy home for flat, lengthy kit you want held in exact cut-outs: a carbon tripod, a pair of microphones on stands, or a set of drill bits and long drivers.
Panaro's foam sheet lists a 15 mm base layer and two 40 mm cubed layers, while the lid takes a 45 mm convoluted pad. Pluck along the grid to the depth you need. With foam fitted Panaro put the weight at 5.74 kg, light enough to carry by the handle or a shoulder strap.
Certificates for the MAX800 cover ATA 300 Category 1 and IP67, with STANAG 4280 and MIL-STD-810H test results. The inside measures 800 x 370 x 140 mm. A revolving lock, double throw latches, padlock holes and an automatic pressure release valve are part of the shell. Made in Italy.
