Deep Square Foam Block for Large Items
The Panaro MAX615S fills the square MAX615 with cubed pick and pluck foam and an egg-crate lid, so large or awkward items can be cut into one deep, snug pocket.
With a 615 x 615 mm floor and 300 mm of depth in the base, the foam block takes items that are too wide for most cases: a drone with its arms out, a projector, a survey base station or several instruments side by side. Trace each outline, pull out the cubes, and keep a layer below for cushioning. The convoluted foam in the 60 mm lid holds the load in place when closed.
Panaro give 11 kg for the empty MAX615 and a 680 x 675 mm footprint. The case rolls on its own wheels (stainless steel pins) and has a big fold down pull handle, according to Panaro's datasheet, plus handles on each side for lifting.
An automatic pressure valve, O-ring and nylon latches come as standard on this Italian made case. Panaro have it certified for IP67 and MIL-STD-810H, and trial-tested to STANAG 4280 / DEF STAN 81-41 as well.
