A Big Square Box for Bulky Gear
The Panaro MAX615 is an empty square case with 135 litres of space, built-in wheels and a large fold down handle, for bulky gear that will not fit a long, shallow case.
A square 615 x 615 mm floor and a 300 mm deep base suit things that are wide in both directions: quadcopter drones with arms fixed, lighting fixtures, rescue or trauma packs, or several smaller boxes packed together. The lid adds another 60 mm, giving 360 mm of internal height. Supplied empty, it can be fitted with Panaro cubed foam, a custom insert or one of Panaro's aluminium A-RACK frames, which they list for this model in 4U and 6U.
Panaro's datasheet lists wheels with stainless steel pins, handles on both sides and a large fold down handle, so the case can be pulled along without the telescopic trolley. It weighs 11 kg empty and the footprint is 680 x 675 mm. Panaro's web page and datasheet give different external heights, so check the 2D drawing before planning vehicle storage.
Panaro's certificates for the MAX615, made in Italy like the whole MAX line, are IP67 and MIL-STD-810H, with a separate STANAG 4280 / DEF STAN 81-41 environmental report.
