Custom Foam Pockets That Roll
The Panaro MAX540H245STR is the trolley MAX540H245 with standard cubed foam below and egg-crate foam above, for a kit you shape once and then wheel from job to job.
Lighting heads, audio interfaces, a drone or a set of meters can each get their own pocket: trace around the item, pull out the cubes, and keep a base layer underneath. Once the load is in, the extendable handle and wheels on stainless steel pins save carrying it through airports, car parks and corridors.
The trolley case weighs 6.90 kg empty on Panaro's datasheet and stands 283 mm tall on a 604 x 473 mm footprint, with a 538 x 405 x 245 mm cavity. The lid takes 50 mm of the depth and the base 195 mm, so taller items go in the base.
An injection moulded polypropylene shell, nylon latches and an O-ring keep it sealed. Panaro's downloads for this size show an IP67 certificate, ATA 300 for flights, a MIL-STD-810H certificate and environmental testing to STANAG 4280 with DEF STAN 81-41. It is made in Italy.
