Pluck the Foam to Fit Your Kit
The Panaro MAX540H245S arrives with pick and pluck cubes filling the lower half and an egg-crate profile pad inside the lid, so you can shape the inside around one fixed set of gear and carry it by hand.
Mark out each item on the foam, pull the cubes away and the pocket is done, no cutting tools needed. Leave a layer under each pocket for cushioning. The egg-crate foam in the lid then holds everything down when the case is shut. It suits kits that stay the same from job to job, such as a measuring set, a camera with two lenses or a first aid layout.
On Panaro's figures the empty case is 5.30 kg and 594 x 473 x 270 mm outside; the cavity, 538 x 405 x 245 mm, is split into 50 mm of lid and 195 mm of base. Carry handles sit on top and on both ends.
Built in Italy, it shares the MAX seal and latch design. The certificates they publish for this case start with IP67 and ATA 300 and include MIL-STD-810H testing and a STANAG 4280 report (DEF STAN 81-41 too). The lid has space for a screen print or resin label.
First aid teams can find more in medical and first aid; for other sizes, see protective cases or Panaro.
