Sahara Trolley Case, Foam Ready
The Panaro MAX505STR in sahara is the tan trolley version of the MAX505, fitted with cubed foam for field kit that is wheeled between vehicles, hangars and huts.
The desert tan shell keeps a low profile next to other field equipment, while the telescopic handle and wheels on stainless pins take the weight off your shoulder. On Panaro's drawing the closed case is 555 x 445 x 258 mm, and the raised handle brings it to 970 mm. Its cubed foam comes as a 20 mm floor, then two 55 mm cube layers, with 50 mm of convoluted foam overhead, inside 500 x 350 x 194 mm.
Panaro rate the STR at 5.50 kg. A MIL-STD-810H report hangs off Panaro's STR page, and the IP67 rating with STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41 marks is printed on the combined STR and HDSTR datasheet. The O-ring lid, automatic valve and interlocking stacking pattern are the same as the carry versions. Made in Italy.
