Foam-Fitted MAX505 That Rolls
The Panaro MAX505STR is the black MAX505 with pick and pluck cubed foam, plus wheels and an extendable handle so a fitted kit rolls through terminals and car parks instead of being carried.
The trolley adds a metal and plastic handle and wheels on stainless steel pins to the back of the case. Panaro's drawing gives 555 x 445 x 258 mm outside and 970 mm to the top of the handle when it is pulled up. Inside you still have 500 x 350 x 194 mm and the full S foam set: a 20 mm floor pad, two layers of 55 mm cubes and the convoluted lid lining of 50 mm. Panaro give the case as 5.50 kg.
Panaro link a MIL-STD-810H report from the trolley version's page, and the datasheet goes further, printing IP67 beside STANAG 4280 / DEF STAN 81-41. ATA 300 is listed only for the versions without wheels. The lid still closes on an O-ring with nylon double throw latches, with an automatic pressure valve. Made in Italy.
