Sand Coloured Case, Padded Bays Inside
The Sahara MAX505CAM gives field users a muted sand coloured watertight case with Panaro's padded divider set already fitted.
Think wildlife photographers, hunters carrying optics and rangefinders, or defence users with radios and night vision accessories: items that need separating and cushioning, carried in a case that does not stand out. Panaro's CAM interior gives them a padded insert whose walls move, plus an egg crate pad in the lid to hold things down.
Panaro give 500 x 350 x 194 mm of internal space, 33.95 litres, and external dimensions of 555 x 428 x 211 mm. As supplied it weighs 4.72 kg. On the sand coloured polypropylene shell you have a sealed lid, a valve that vents itself, two-stage latches, nylon hinge pins, and a strap hole plus two padlock points at each end. MIL-STD-810, IP67, ATA 300 and the STANAG 4280 / DEF STAN 81-41 tests all appear on Panaro's list for the MAX505CAM, and Panaro say it is made in Italy.
