MAX430S: A Black Watertight Case With Pluckable Foam
The Panaro MAX430S is the black MAX430 shell sold ready to pack, with cubed pick and pluck foam in the base and convoluted foam in the lid.
There is 426 x 290 x 159 mm to work with inside. On Panaro's foam sheet the MAX430 gets a 20 mm floor pad, a pair of 40 mm pre-cut cube layers and 45 mm of egg-crate foam overhead. Trace a camera body, meter or drone controller, pull the cubes inside the outline, and the lid pad presses everything down when you shut it.
Black injection moulded polypropylene forms the body, closed by nylon latches over a polymer O-ring. Panaro hold an IP67 certificate for this MAX430 alongside a MIL-STD-810H certificate and ATA 300 Cat. 1 approval, and it was put through STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41 testing; every document is downloadable here. Moulded details include the automatic pressure release valve, two padlock holes and the stacking pattern. It is made in Italy.
