A Slim MAX380 With Foam You Pluck To Shape
The Panaro MAX380H115S is the shallow, 115 mm deep version of the MAX380, packed with cubed foam you tear out by hand to cradle flat, compact kit.
Panaro build the foam stack from a 10 mm base sheet, two 33 mm layers of cubed foam and a 35 mm convoluted pad in the lid. Draw round each piece on the upper sheet and tear away the cubes within your outline; handheld meters, radios, a small drone controller or a compact camera body each get a snug pocket. Usable space is 380 x 270 x 115 mm (36 mm of it in the lid, 79 mm in the base) inside a 414 x 345 x 129 mm shell.
Panaro mould the body in polypropylene and fit it with nylon double throw latches that pull the lid down onto a polymer O-ring, plus a valve that equalises air pressure automatically. For this shallow height Panaro supply an IP67 certificate, a TesLab environmental report run to the NATO STANAG 4280 protocol and a separate MIL-STD-810H certificate. Panaro do not list ATA 300 for this shallow height. With foam fitted, Panaro give the weight as 2.02 kg.
