Order the black MAX235H155S when you want a small watertight case that arrives with foam: pick and pluck cubes below and a convoluted lid layer above.
This is Panaro's standard foam kit. You pull cubes from the base layer to make a cavity for each item, and the egg-crate foam in the lid presses down on top when the case is closed. It is the quickest way to give a camera body, a pair of radios or a small medical kit a home of its own.
The deep, square-ish shape is the point of the MAX235H155: a 235 x 180 mm floor with 156 mm of height, from a 131 mm base and 25 mm lid. The shell measures 258 x 243 x 167 mm and weighs 1 kg empty. It is polypropylene with nylon latches and hinge pins, a polymer O-ring and a pressure release valve, and it is made in Italy. The test papers Panaro list for this model are ATA 300 Category 1, IP67, MIL-STD-810H and a combined STANAG 4280 / DEF STAN 81-41 report.
