Black MAX235H105 With Pick And Pluck Foam
The black MAX235H105S is the everyday foam choice in this size: standard cubed foam you pluck to fit a camera, drone or instrument, inside a case tested for air transport and military handling.
Panaro describe it as convoluted foam in the lid over a pick and pluck cubed base. Their foam sheet gives a 20 mm base pad, two 30 mm cube layers and a 22 mm lid layer. The interior footprint is 235 x 180 mm, deep enough at 25 mm in the lid plus 81 mm in the base for most compact kit, and the S version weighs 0.92 kg.
For the case itself Panaro publish IP67 from CMC, Teslab trials under STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41 Part 3, Teslab MIL-STD-810H vibration and transit drop, and PAConsult's ATA 300 Category 1 report. Its datasheet lists a -51 to 90 °C range, and the latch holes take padlocks.
