Cubed Foam Inside A Compact MAX200
The MAX200S is Panaro's small, deep MAX200 with standard pick and pluck foam, a quick way to give a camera body, drone controller or field instrument a fitted pocket.
The cubes come as two 30 mm layers over a 10 mm base pad, with a 22 mm convoluted pad in the lid, all within 200 x 125 x 90 mm of interior space. Panaro describe it as convoluted foam on top and pick and pluck cubes underneath. At 0.60 kg it is the lighter foam version.
Outside it is 223 x 172 x 102 mm. Teslab tested the MAX200 against STANAG 4280 and DEF STAN 81-41 at NATO level 1, for IP6X and IPX7, and the MIL-STD-810H vibration and transit drop methods. The datasheet gives -51 to 90 °C and lists double throw latches and full length hinges, and the latch holes take padlocks.
