Over a Metre Long, With a Lid That Swings Open
The Panaro MAX1090H280-H is the hinged-lid version of Panaro's largest MAX footprint: 1090 x 680 mm inside and 280 mm deep, an empty 215 litre space for long and wide loads such as survey gear, stretchers, antenna masts or folded shelters.
On the -H version the lid stays attached and swings up to 90 degrees, held closed by 8 latches. That makes it the easier choice when one person opens and closes it often. Panaro also offer butterfly steel latches as an accessory. The lid is 70 mm deep over a 210 mm base, and the empty case weighs 17.50 kg per Panaro.
To move it, tip it onto the double wheels and pull the big fold down handle; two people can also carry it by the low side handles. Fibreglass reinforced nylon pins, a watertight seal and four automatic pressure release valves complete the shell. The -H shell holds an IP67 certificate and passed STANAG 4280 and MIL-STD-810H testing, per Panaro. Made in Italy.
