A Dark Cloth Spine That Hides Wear And Handling Marks
Olympic 141699 is Wotan cloth tape in black, a 25mm wide roll with 25m of tape, listed by Hamelin Brands for book binding, repairs and general masking.
Black is the practical colour for anything that gets handled with dirty hands. A taped spine on a workshop manual, a job folder or a well used ledger stays looking tidy long after a light colour would have greyed.
The label on Olympic cloth tape rolls lists four properties: high strength, waterproof, non-stretch and tears evenly. That last point matters on the job, because a clean tear by hand means no hunting for scissors to finish a spine.
At 25mm it is the narrowest Olympic width, suited to thin booklets, pamphlets and hinge repairs rather than thick volumes.
Other widths and colours are in cloth tapes. See also office tapes, book coverings for school and library books, and more from Olympic.
