Receipts Without A Carbon Sheet To Shuffle
Olympic 142812 is the No. 714 cash receipt book, a Copymate carbonless duplicate with 50 leaves in a compact orange cover.
With a carbon book you move the carbon sheet each time. Carbonless paper transfers the writing by pressure alone, so you simply write on the top receipt and the copy underneath takes the impression. That suits people who write receipts on the move and do not want a loose sheet slipping about or marking their hands.
Each form asks for the date, who paid, the sum in words, what it was for, the dollar amount and a signature. Hamelin Brands list the size as 100 x 125mm, a small landscape book that sits in a pocket, cash tin or glovebox.
