Heavier 90gsm Paper For Glue, Collage And Colour
Olympic 140777 is the Megasaurus scrap book, reference SM64, with 64 blank 90gsm pages measuring 335 x 240mm and a stapled spine, sold ten to a pack.
Paper weight is what sets this book apart. Hamelin Brands, owner of the Olympic brand, list it at 90gsm, half as heavy again as the 60gsm sheet in the Jungle and Aussie Animals books, and the cover itself is printed Premium Paper. A firmer page holds up better under layers of glued cuttings, thick felt pen colour and crayon rubbings, so it is the one to choose when a scrap book doubles as an art book.
The cover is a riot of cartoon dinosaurs in greens, oranges and purples with the title in carved stone lettering, an easy sell for any dinosaur fan in the room. There is also a half size version with the same paper, the Minisaurus.
