Four Speeds From One USB Cable
Nero 7490131 is a black 13cm desk fan powered through a connected 1.5m USB cable, with four speed settings, a brushless copper motor and a 1 year warranty from Nero.
The smaller Nero 10cm USB fan has a single speed. This model steps up to four, which makes it easier to settle on a level that moves the air without lifting loose papers off the desk. The head tilts, so the flow can be aimed at face height or angled lower.
It stands 290mm tall on a 150mm diameter base, with a 170mm grill around three plastic blades 130mm across. The slim stem lifts the head clear of a keyboard or document tray, and Weatherdon rate the fan at 3 W. It draws its power from a computer USB port or a USB power adaptor.
