A 50cm Floor Fan That Moves Air Across a Workshop or Gym
The Nero Industrial Floor Fan 50cm Black is a low, heavy duty drum style fan that sits on the floor and pushes a strong stream of air across a work area.
Weatherdon list a 180 W motor with 100 percent copper winding driving three powder coated aluminium blades. Top speed is 1350 RPM and the listed airflow is 280 cubic metres a minute. Three speed settings let you run it softly in a meeting room or flat out in a hot loading bay, and the head tilts on its tubular stand so the air can be aimed up at people or low across a floor that needs to dry.
It suits warehouses, garages, gyms, workshops, school halls and site sheds where a desk fan is too small and a pedestal fan is in the way. The compact frame tucks against a wall when not in use. It runs from a standard 240 V power point on a 1.8 m cord, and a metal safety guard covers the blades. Weatherdon rate it at 78 dB, so it is a working fan rather than a quiet bedroom one.
