A Purple Lane Nobody in the Office Has Claimed Yet
Purple Ultra letter files carry Marbig code 2004319 and arrive one hundred to the box. Marbig publish a pouch thickness of 180 microns against this grade, and list their standard letter file, a separate range on separate codes, at 100 microns.
Colour schemes tend to stall when a fifth category turns up and the obvious colours are already spoken for. Purple is often the one still free, which makes it the natural home for the awkward group that fits none of the existing lanes: legal hold, a single large client, a project that crosses two departments. A box quantity means the new lane is stocked properly from day one.
Because the meaning of a colour is set by the office using it rather than by Marbig, a fresh colour is genuinely free to define. Write the rule down once, stock it properly, and the sleeve does the sorting on arrival instead of somebody doing it afterwards from a pile that has already been put off twice.
The rest of the Ultra colours are listed alongside this one under display folders, and the board alternatives, where a sleeve is not wanted at all, sit in manilla folders. Everything else the brand makes is grouped under Marbig.
