The Marbig Stor A File Kraft is a six compartment kraft filing unit for foolscap documents that stands upright as a file sorter or turns on its side to work as open shelving.
Paperwork that lives in a pile gets lost, and paperwork that lives in a closed drawer gets forgotten. An open six compartment unit keeps current files standing on edge where the spine labels can be read from a seated position, which is why these units end up on credenzas, in project rooms and behind reception counters rather than in the archive room.
Each of the six compartments is 85mm wide, so a compartment takes a lever arch file, a wallet of loose paper or a stack of catalogues without the sides bowing. The unit measures 565mm wide, 290mm deep and 375mm high, which fits a standard desk return or a shelf run without overhanging the edge.
