A Longer Guard For Larger Cartons
Marbig 51084 is a box of 500 brown strap guards, each a 55 x 55mm angle that runs 75mm along the carton edge, listed by ACCO at 3.5mm thick.
On large cartons the strap crossing takes more tension, and a short guard can slip out from under a wide strap. This code gives the most edge cover of the Marbig guards we sell, with a deeper angle that ACCO say fits securely on cartons and a 75mm length that leaves generous margin around a 19mm strap.
The job is the same as any strap guard: ACCO describe it as stopping straps cutting into cartons, so the edge stays square and the carton can be restacked at the far end. A box of 500 suits a site that straps a steady number of larger consignments.
