The Heaviest Gauge In The Blown Machine Range
Marbig Professional 51053 is clear blown machine stretch film at 25 micron, on a 500mm wide roll holding 1500m of film.
Among the Marbig blown machine rolls we list, this is the thickest: 18 micron on the 2100m roll, 20 micron on the 1630m rolls and 25 micron here. A heavier gauge means less film per roll, which is why the length drops to 1500m. Sites that wrap sharp cornered or awkward loads often move up a gauge, though ACCO publish no load or puncture figures to compare the codes by.
ACCO credit the film with superior puncture resistance and durability plus a high cling level, and the clear colour lets wrapped items be identified without unwrapping. The rolls are made for pallet wrap machines. The core size is not published.
