The Colour You Reserve for Work That Cannot Wait
Red foolscap Polypick, Marbig code 2011003, is a polypropylene wallet with a 25mm gusset, a touch fastener and a write on panel, rated by Marbig at 250 pages.
A filing run only works if one colour means one thing. Red is the usual reservation for the urgent tray, the escalation, the matter with a court date on it. Kept that way across a team, the colour does the work a label cannot, because it is read from across the room and from the wrong side of a desk.
Holding a single colour for exceptions keeps the rest of the system honest, and Marbig list the polypropylene as tear resistant, which is what a wallet handled under pressure needs. The name panel is written rather than printed, so reassigning the wallet to the next urgent job costs nothing beyond a new line of marker.
The remaining Polypick colours sit under document wallets, and the packs of twelve alongside them. Broader filing and storage lines and the Marbig range cover the rest of a filing rebuild.
