Give One Project a Filing Colour of Its Own
Marbig code 2011019 is the purple foolscap Polypick wallet, with a 25mm gusset, a touch fastener and a write on panel, rated by Marbig at 250 pages.
Purple is seldom the first colour a filing system claims, which is exactly what makes it useful. A department, a project or a single person can take it without colliding with the meanings already attached to red, blue and yellow, and without anyone having to redraw the key on the cupboard door.
Once a colour is assigned, the wallet does the sorting before anyone reads a word. The same 25mm gusset and touch fastener used across the line keep the behaviour predictable, so a purple wallet slots into the existing run rather than becoming its own special case with its own rules.
The other single colours and the multipacks are shelved under document wallets. They pair with the rest of the Marbig range, and the office supplies listing carries the trays and racks they sit in.
