Yellow Foolscap Manilla Folders for Files That Need Finding
A box of one hundred yellow foolscap manilla folders, Marbig code 1108105, on the 170gsm board ACCO Australia publish for this colour.
Yellow is one of the brighter shades Marbig run in this folder, though they publish no filing convention for it or for anything else in the range. What ACCO Australia do publish against code 1108105 is 170gsm board and a foolscap page size. The carton adds the corner shape and the scored spine, and both are legible in the first photograph on this page.
Picking a file out edge on in a full drawer is what a colour is for, and a bright one gives the eye more to work with. The 170gsm board is the published figure behind the folder, and one hundred of them will colour an entire category in a single pass.
Keep one colour for one meaning and the system runs itself. Our manilla folders collection lists the other colours, with document wallets and the wider Marbig range for what travels outside the cabinet.
