An Index For The Mid Size Card Box
Marbig 40066F guide cards divide a 6x4 inch card file, using buff manilla cards and plastic tabs that read A to Z on one face and 1 to 31 on the other.
The 6x4 card is the size many offices use for client records, service histories and sample libraries, because it holds more writing than a 5x3 without taking up a drawer. Dropping a set of guides into the box means a record can be found by name in seconds, and the numbered faces turn the same cards into a monthly follow up file whenever that suits better.
The pack gives the size as 150 x 102mm, and ACCO say there are 30 guide cards to a pack. ACCO describe the manilla as sturdy and the tabs as plastic, made for frequent handling, and their photo shows the letters spread over five staggered tab positions with a Mc tab of its own.
